Chandelier

The life of a rental chandelier
V I N T A G E   H O M  E
First we strip the chandelier of all its crystals..
Then we tape off what won't be sprayed...
Then it gets suspended from our high tech holder
(wow the grass is kinda white...overspray!)

And after we add extra sparkle...
it gets to go to weddings!

  1. I love that update! Inexpensive chandeliers are sometimes easy to find and I never feel badly about painting them! I enjoy following you and would love to have you follow back!

  2. For the past few years I have been snagging up old ones for pennies or free, then I paint them all ugly and hang them in our shed for our Halloween party. I'm looking at them in a different "light" now.

Thanks for letting me know about my sister's blog. I did let her know. It's a mystery to us, but we are often in the dark in Blog World. Ha Ha I told her to google her question. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

My vase is not vintage, but I have had it for a long time. :)
    Have a wonderful day, Joyce

  17. I love chandeliers anywhere and everywhere! When I lived in Ont I could snap a chandelier at every thrift store or auction but it seems a bit more challenging out here. Wonder why?

  19. What a great makeover! I've been wanting a chandelier to hang outside for photo shoots, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Now I'll have to keep my eye out for one that needs a little help and save myself some pennies at the same time!
