We have a shade garden.
But on the side garden we have some sun!
This rose is a real trooper, it blooms and blooms.
I am very thankful for this rose!

Combined with Lady's Mantle
or
Sedum it makes a great bouquet.

Have a great weekend.
Monday is July 1st!
A Canadian holiday!

We are celebrating
Canada Day!

  2. You are in CANADA my dear? LOVELY!

And those roses, oh my GOODNESS aren't they just a wonderful surprise? I have been seeing beautiful blooms here, and this has been one of the most beautiful springs/summers I have seen in many years. We have had so much rain here, but it is worth it all.

How very kind of you to visit and left me a comment! I am still here, OH YEAH! I just need to use my writing time for now for my poetry class, but I will be posting again soon.

Enjoy this glorious summer and CANADA DAY! Anita

  4. I love Canadians :)
I love Canada and would move there in a flash. I lived in Washington state and would visit Vancouver often, and would love to lice in the town of Duncan well a few other areas as well.
Maybe the French community would do me well.
Thank you for sharing your trimmed beautifully boxwoods, a garden to love.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me and beautiful Santa Barbara Ca. Where the sea meets you roadside to greet you with it's beauty of calm.
    Have a beautiful Canada day,

  5. Beautiful roses. The house I lived in Germany had beautiful rose bushes but since then I haven't used them in a garden. Your photos are reminding the error of my ways. :-)

  6. Oh Happy Canada Day Colleen!!!
The color of that rose is gorgeous! and it looks so pretty with that lady's mantle.
Thank you for your lovely message. It meant so much to me. I just spent three days with my sister and her husband and even though it was so difficult seeing him in that condition of health, he is happy to be out of the hospital and home again. He is expected to have about two to three months and we are going to spend as much time as we can with him and let him know how much we love him.
    sending hugs...

I love your roses, especially with the Lady's Mantel, and they're lovely in the trophy. Is that a picture of your garden? Oh my!
