Remember these Lanterns in our back yard?
We loved them for about 5 years...but it was time for a change!
They hung @ random heights and so many talked about how
their parents had them when they where growing up!
Since we hung ours up I have seen them on a web site of a store owner
in S. Calif. for $189 each!
So funny .....ours where not that much!
&
THIS is their new home!
A wonderful farm house porch!
Annett & Jos thanks for giving them such a great home!
I love how they put them in a row!
Do you like them in a row as much as me ?!

So nice to pass something along and see them look so nice in their new home!
They originally caught my eye when you first posted them, but they also look like they belong above that great table perfectly aligned.

They look fantastic! I had a blue one a few years ago and I donated it to my local thrift shop. I wonder where it ended up? I miss it !!!

Yes...I do love them in a row...very cute!
I love all those shutters in the back! Check out the book Patina Style. The Giannettis do wonders with old shutters! The same folks who write Velvet and Linen.

I think they look pretty in both locations :)
I have to say that one of my favorite things in the entire world are lanterns, any and all types. Those are lovely.
Fabulous retro lights... they look good anywhere and in any configuration!! But I have to say, I really really love them grouped together in varying heights the way you had them, Colleen. :-)

I love your patio area! I wish we had a covered patio so that all my furniture would be safe from the rains we get....oh well. Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure to come over and introduce yourself at the vintage market! I've spent an hour looking at all your stuff and am in love with your turquoise things - they would go so perfectly in my studio! :)
Cheers

I just stopped in to thank you for becoming a follower of mine, and of course to look around on your blog. So I was reading and going through all the older posts admiring your ideas, and this is the post I chose to comment on. Why? I LOVE those lanterns!!!! I see old lights like that in thrift stores or sales etc., and always admire the glass but think 'what could I do with them'? Well now I know, I'm so excited to do this. I have a house soffit behind an outdoor spa, and every year I hang plants that die, and they stay over winter and look like hell! I'm so gonna collect these lights they would be PERFECT!!!!
