From now until May 25th, Delish will be bringing the sellers to our readers! Consider this a sneak peek to entice you to come to the market (make sure to say hi to us at the
Delish General Storebooth!), or an introduction to an amazing artisan, handcrafter or business for those of you who are not local to the Lower Mainland, or cannot make it out. Check back every day for new vendors!
We have been using antiques in our home forever…we collected before we where married… then it got out of hand (still is!) and I had to start finding other homes for pieces!
After we exhausted our friends we approached retail stores, and have a relationship with them still, providing one of a kind vintage items. We also have a booth at the Village Antique Mall in Fort Langley, B.C.
At Scout Market we will be showcasing our beautiful painted antique furniture pieces, mirrors, dishes, linens and collectables! Our colours range from white to turquoise and every shade of pink blue & grey!!
The biggest reason I like these events is because they are a BLAST — we get to meet so many people who love the look of our product and the whole atmosphere of a market! Don’t get me wrong, it is a LOT of work! Our desire is to have LOTS of pretty things, and have a pleasing booth. We get to visit with amazing vendors & fellow bloggers make a huge effort to visit & support us! It is so much fun…the producers Lily & Rachel of Birch & Bird are wonderful, sweet kind & professional!
Personally, I am thankful for a healthy family and great friends. Professionally, I have met so many interesting and fascinating people. The bloggers I am in contact with are a source of constant inspiration and I am deeply motivated to be more creative whether in my blog or to stretch myself in design work and product!
