Faux Flowers, Milk Glass, Turquoise

When I walk into a room I love to see
A pet
A smile
Or
A vase full of flowers
But sometimes I haven't got any in bloom
OR
We are just in between trips to the market!
...So I have these
Faux Roses!

And for the time I need them to be there ...
They are just fine!
So you know I am going to ask...
Do you ever have Faux Flowers in your home!

Oh yes....I try to buy faux flowers that look as real as I can afford and then I never mind using them. One of the "close seconds" I often resort to!

of course! I have some very real looking faux hydrangeas on my table - real ones are very hard to come by in Dubai :)

On days of desperation, when the pickin's are slim, I succumb and pull out a couple faithfuls. I have a friend who has some faux roses she uses regularly. I have actually walked over to smell them only to have her laugh and tell me they aren't real. Ha! The good ones have merit.

Thank you for sending your friend a link to my home tour, I hope she likes it!

Love your faux roses ~ they are so pretty! Yes, I have faux flowers at home & the shop looks like faux flower heaven! Nothing beats a punch of color no matter where it is coming from (especially after a dreary winter).

I don't have a problem with faux, especially if they are as nice as yours. Looks great!

Beautiful! Yes, I do have faux flowers in my home. Some of them look very real...:) I do go out in the garden and bring real flowers in too. But, the faux ones are nice when other flowers are not blooming!

I love the milk glass in your last post. Your diamond aqua glass table candle sconces in today's post are SO pretty. I love them! Thanks for sharing.

To answer your question over on my blog: Yes, my blog banner is my creation. A cropped version of a mixed-media painting I did this year (with my blog name added over it). Thanks for asking.

Happy week to you!

Hi Colleen,
Thanks for visiting me again on my blog today to let me know you saw my reply. I haven't really sold any of my work (yet), I have mostly given it away as gifts for family and friends. If there is something I have shown on my blog (in a photograph) that you like I can make something similiar, if I already have given it away...:) It wouldn't be identical, but could be fairly close in look. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind. I probably could have prints made of my photos, or paint an original if you are interested. Just let me know...:) I have considered starting up my own ETSY shop, or something like that to sell my work. There is always SO much to learn. My family keeps telling me I just need to jump in and go for it. Someday...Lord willing, I may do that (with His guidance)! Thanks for your interest, and comments.
