Love your whites today my friend...hope all is well...lets get together soon. xoxox
Very pretty. Love the subtle grays that appear as well. What a wonderful anniversary gift to boot!
I remember that store in Yarrow. My DH bought me 2 things there before we were married. (34 years) I still have the vintage bracelet. Maybe it is even an antique by now. lol I need to dig it out, it is covered in rhinestones - the latest thing right now. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories.
What a timeless piece-and a great memory!
Mr. and Mrs. Stern were the owners of the Yarrow Antique Store for about 20 years. Mr. Stern and I are still friends, sharing our love of beautiful old things. If I remember correctly, he is well into his 80's but looks much younger and is very spry. Mary, his wife is an amazing well known artist. They recently have moved back to Yarrow !
I was just wondering the same thing this morning. I have no clue how to link up either. I want to. I will have to check it out and add myself too....I hate not knowing the computer well. I have a similiar set too.

I nearly posted some up to date pictures of the kitchen..and then took them off. The quality was not good. I think I will get my daughter to take pictures because she has a super duper camera. I think my lense needs cleaning....I was so excited I could hardly wait.
You are so brave to join in, I don't know how so I have been afraid to do it. Your husband has good taste.
Thanks for stopping by. I love Christmas scents so I am glad you mentioned that one, I will check it out. They told me at the shop that new holiday scents are coming out, I think on October llth or 12th.
Your husband knows how to pick a great gift! That's beautiful.
Blessings,
Marcia

Hello sweetie! Your basin and pitcher are oh so pretty with such a romantic story behind it! To do a linky party all you have to do is join in and you are partying! Great to see you and thank you for visiting my site.
Hugs,
Olivia
I'd love you to visit my store and it would be so nice to meet you ! I believe Mrs. Stern no longer shows her incredible watercolors. If I recall, she had a large art sale a couple of years ago and sold many of her pieces. She is very well known in the Art community here. ~J.~
Hi there girlfriend...
Bob has such good taste...lovin' the basin and bowl set.
How is M? So sorry I missed your Australia post...I have been elbow deep in paint. I'm sure she is having the time of her life.
miss you.

It's lovely and your husband has great taste!!
Very pretty basin and pitcher, but may I please have the little table that they perch upon? ;)
First, I loveeeeee your turquoise chair and pink roses. That's a real eye catching color combo, one of my favorite.
The pitcher, and basin are gorgeous.
